Hollywood Historical Society is thrilled to announce the introduction of its Historic Preservation Grant Initiative, which will award modest grants to homeowners for the preservation, protection, and/or restoration of historic elements of the homeowners' historic residences. OUR VISION: We are the stewards of Hollywood's history, benefitting our diverse city and all of its neighborhoods. We share our City's history by providing educational resources and telling its stories. We are advocates for Hollywood's unique character and heritage.

 

THE HOLLYWOOD HISTORICAL SOCIETY has over 20,000 items in its collection, including bound volumes of the Hollywood Sun-Tattler newspaper. Find information on the Sun Tattler Digitization Project on our Programs page.

 

WE ALSO OFFER many unique items for sale at the Research Center including books, historic postcards, photographs, maps, and posters.
