The new book features a comparison of vintage and modern day images to illustrate area growth and development. Most of the more than 200 images in Hollywood were culled from the extensive collection of the Hollywood Historical Society and include photos from J. W. Young’s salesmen’s books from 1921 until 1926 and images from the now-defunct Hollywood Sun-Tattler from 1970 until 1980.
